America On Line, uses image compression as a default setting. Although this speeds downloads, this can make illustrations in the Television Production cybertext appear rather blurry and the associated text unreadable..

Here's how to turn off this feature.

First go to Members and then Preferences.

Then click on WWW and look for the Internet Properties graphic.

Make sure the Use compressed graphics option is turned off. (There should be no check in the box circled below.)

If you need to change the setting, click on the box and then click OK.

You need to restart the AOL software for a change to take effect.
